Cancer Council NSW's Campaigns Unit is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic volunteer who is in their final year of studying graphic design, for the position of Graphic Design Assistant to work closely with the Community Fundraising team to design marketing collateral for a Relay For Life Leadership Conference held in 2017.  

Based at our Head Office in Woolloomooloo you will report to the Community Fundraising team within the Campaigns Unit, and undertake tasks including:  

  • Design a range of collateral and resources for the Relay For Life conference in July 2017
  • Items to be designed include invitations, welcome packs, posters, presentation templates, eDM banners, etc. Designing imagery and collateral for social media.  

The ideal volunteer for this role will be:  

  • A final year Graphic Design student
  • Creative and have a vision for design
  • Confident in developing a creative theme for all conference collateral
  • Well versed to understand marketing principles, branding and communications
  • Able to demonstrate excellent graphic design experience Proficient computer skills, including MS Office & Adobe CS5 Suite - in particular Dreamweaver, Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop.
  • It is essential to have your own laptop with these programs
  • Available 2 days a week until May 2017
