Who are we?

HK Media is the parent company of some of Australia's newest online publications, establishing Aussie Gossip, Australia Business News and Beauty News Australia in 2016 alone. The company consists of news editors, writers and social media managers who are passionate about current events, entertainment, beauty, business and tech.  

Who do we need?

We need a creative and enthusiastic online writer/reporter. While the job is unpaid, we provide all training and equipment, as well as a letter of reference upon completion.

This role would suit:

Anyone who is imaginative, resourceful, easy-going, and willing to learn. You should have a ton of ideas for engaging content - no experience required! We will train you in everything you need to know. Ideally, we're looking for a candidate available for at least 2 days a week for a period of 3-6 months. Many of the people who are working at our company began as interns, so we're not afraid of hiring if we like what we see!

• You have a strong social media understanding

These are not required, but it would be great if you have:

• Previous experience working with an online publication
• You have previous experience with Wordpress
• Your own blog, published stories or a strong interest in writing
• An interest in being in front of the camera for entertainment news videos
