The Associate Research Fellow will contribute to two industry related projects on metallography and mechanical testing through the Australian Centre for Rail Innovation, and the Defence Materials Technology Centre. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor degree in Materials Engineering, demonstrate ability and experience in metallography and mechanical testing, thorough understanding of the relationship between microstructure and mechanical properties, and welding process knowledge applicable to high productivity and defect free fabrication. It is a requirement of the Defence Materials Technology Centre project that the successful candidate be an Australian citizen.
