Planet Ark is looking for an experienced marketer/events coordinator to promote positive environmental actions through events and marketing collateral.

About you

  • You are an energetic self-starter, with a strong goal-driven desire to succeed
    and at least 3 years’ experience in marketing/ communications 
  • Extensive experience in partner/stakeholder liaison with strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capacity for conflict resolution and relationship management
  • Strong presentation and content creation skills
  • An excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well individually and in a team
  • Ability to think quickly, work effectively under pressure and to manage several projects at once
  • Excellent administrative, verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with demonstrated ability in generic computer packages such as Microsoft Office and CRM proficiency
  • A strong alignment with Planet Ark’s mission and values

And it would be even better if you had:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, events or related discipline
  • Experience in event management
  • Sound knowledge of environmental issues such as climate change
  • An interest in renewable energy

About the role

Planet Ark has an opening for an experienced and passionate commincator to join our tight knit team to deliver some of Australia’s best known environmental campaigns. Working in collaboration with a variety of staff and stakeholders, this is a highly rewarding position that puts you at the forefront of significant positive environmental initiatives.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, 37.5 hours per week, based in our Sydney head office. The salary is $65,000 to $70,000, dependant on experience, pro rata plus super and benefits.
