happen.  With leading academics and world-class resources, combined with a
ranking in the top 100 universities worldwide, we offer all you need to build a
brighter future.

The Opportunity
The Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR) is a
partnership between WorkSafe Victoria (WorkSafe), the Transport Accident
Commission (TAC) and Monash University (Monash). ISCRR aims to conduct research
aligned with compensation scheme issues and objectives, and to facilitate the
translation of research evidence into policy and practice that will lead to
fewer and less severe occupational injuries and illnesses and improved health,
vocational and social outcomes.
As described in our Strategic Plan, Vision 2020, ISCRR has developed a
collaborative research model which features three pillars: (1) setting the
research agenda (2) conducting or facilitating research and (3) translating
research.

One of the research platforms that ISCRR has developed to support activity
across its research portfolio is the Data Hub. One of its primary activities is
ISCRR's Compensation Research Database (CRD). The CRD was established in 2009
and is an internationally unique research database that incorporates datasets
from both the TAC and WorkSafe. It provides a unique platform to support
research into compensation health and to link to other databases to expand
research possibilities. Further information can be found atwww.iscrr.com.au.

As the Research Assistant, you will make a substantial contribution to the
Data Hub and ISCRR more broadly by supporting the management of the CRD and
related data platforms. This includes data analysis, reporting, interpreting
data and administration, managing projects and providing support and assistance
to the Lead Evidence Review and Data Hub
You will require a qualification with a quantitative component in a social
science, epidemiology, public policy or other health-related discipline, and
relevant work experience; or an equivalent, alternate combination of relevant
and substantial experience and/or education/training.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise and strengthen
your enhanced data management, analysis and related quantitative skills, and
work closely with a range of stakeholders from our industry and academic
partners to drive and leverage ISCRR's data platforms in ways that will add
value to our partners and the community.
If you are passionate about using data to support research that influences
policy and practice in the health or related setting, we encourage you to apply.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may
be negotiated.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to "How to
apply for Monash Jobs"
