We currently have an excellent opportunity for a customer focused Audiologist to join our team. This role will be supporting our Burnie and Devonport Hearing Centres plus our visiting sites and will report to the Centre Manager.
In this role you will be actively involved in a wide range of activities including:
  • Assessing the auditory needs of clients in accordance with conventional established practice, methods and standards and provide appropriate rehabilitative support including fitting of hearing devices, if appropriate
  • Effective management of own client load
  • Referring clients to other professionals and providing guidance to other audiologists where needed
  • Participating in clinical work associated with services to visiting sites and home visits
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Audiologist seeking a new challenging and rewarding role. You will be supported through a range of activities including formal training courses, guided reading and peer support programs.
The ideal candidate will hold a QP number, current driver's license, enjoy community liaison with a wide and diverse client base and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your clinical abilities will enable you to undertake the full range of professional services.
Clinicians with varied level of experience will be considered.
