On behalf of the AFL, Beam Australia is looking for a UX Analyst, part time: 2-2.5 days a week.

The role:

We’re looking for a part-time User Experience Analyst, because we have an awesome UX Designer working part-time, so we’ll look to complement her skills with another new brilliant team member – win win!

You’ll have responsibility for user experience insights and our test and learn strategy across a number of web properties including afl.com.au and our club websites. You’ll also be working with our app team to learn how our fans use each property differently. You’ll investigate how customers get to our digital properties, how they use them, which new features and ideas resonate and perform, and help define our potential growth areas and priorities.

The most important aspects of the role are:

·    UX research and analysis

·    User testing & usability evaluation

·    Documentation

You’ll have the opportunity to work on afl.com.au, our 18 club sites, Mark of the Year, Goal of the Year, the Brownlow and many other exciting products.

Skills and experience:

We’re looking for an experienced UX professional (2 years+ of UX research and testing experience) who’ll be able to bring a new set of capabilities to our product team. Some of the key technical skills we’re looking for are:

·    Running ongoing Test and Learn programs

·    Facilitating user research

·    Providing analysis and recommendations

·    Usability evaluation

And these would be a bonus!

·    Information architecture

·    Interaction and prototype design

·    Visual design

·    Technical writing

We also need you to have really strong communication skills and agility, to be able to work effectively in this part-time role.

You do not need to have experience in the sector or in sport, but you do need to have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team with strong UX capability.

Terms:

·    Days: 2-2.5 days per week

·    Package: Full Time Equivalent of $100k depending on experience (so $40k for 2 days)

·    Location: Docklands, Melbourne

·    Role: Permanent Part-Time
