At Classbento we want to bring Australia’s recreational courses under one open marketplace, from knitting to language. Similar to the models of AirBnB or Uber, we empower users to earn money through skills and knowledge they have.

Our goal is simple; become the market leader in recreational courses. We have a world-class team of passionate specialists in technology, marketing, sales and operations and we are looking for other passionate individuals that can help us reach our goal.

What you will do

We are looking for a passionate and energetic person to join the sales team and assist in generating and managing leads, driving growth and maintaining a healthy database of users. Specific roles will include:

  • To expand our database of teachers through research and conversion of potential leads.
  • The onboarding of new teachers and management of a teacher portfolio.
  • To assist in developing and implementing new sales strategies.
  • Support the growth of Classbento into other regions of Australia.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for bright young people to join the team in the early stages of business development. We are ideally looking for business students or individuals with significant sales experience to assist in driving growth. Qualities that we are looking for include:

  • The ability to work and execute tasks autonomously.
  • Confident in speaking with business owners and other potential clients. We are looking for people that don’t shy away from cold calling and can comfortably convert leads through the phone and in person.
  • Live and breathe sales, from strategy to execution.
  • Passionate about startups, innovation and entrepreneurship
  • Familiarity with Excel and any sales software is beneficial
  • Part time availability of up to 6 months and ready to begin as soon as possible
  • Must have good communication skills and love talking to strangers. Fluency in English is imperative.

Sales and business development experience will further set you apart, as well as experience in a similar startup environment.
