High profile Retail and Consumer company, with a presence in the far western suburbs of Melbourne. On the verge of a $300M+ development project the company have successfully been rebranded and we now have a requirement for a Marketing Assistant to join this hard working team in this newly created role. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and the Marketing Executive you will focus on new projects and contribute to the successful marketing of the brands and services of the company. Included in this your various duties will include: * Work with the Marketing Team in a creative capacity to input into marketing strategy and facilitate projects and campaigns * Being responsible for copywriting duties for news and editorial items including trade press, customer communications and websites as well as developing their social media capacity. * You will develop and assist on the production and distribution of brand collateral * Maintain contact with external agencies, customers and various managers to assist in strengthening relationships and performance in the market place. * Develop and maintain customer mailings and e-alerts on a regular basis for various stakeholders and customers * Collate and present sales figures and produce reports on marketing research and campaigns * Assist with all aspects of planning, facilitating and attending exhibitions and events as well source and plan new events This role will suit a self-starter with drive and determination and a creative energy. This continually growing company hold their employees in high esteem and as such we're looking for a dynamic, resourceful candidate with passion and focus who will also happily take on non marketing operational activities when required. You must bring a minimum of 3 - 6 months working or internship experience within a fast paced marketing environment, hands on experience with events, marketing collateral and website, social media promotion as well as exposure to a retail or consumer based business will set up apart from the pack.
