The program
Having good social connections are essential for all aspects of health, especially as we age. Red Cross supports older people who live alone or who have few social connections, people with disability and people recovering from mental illness to help improve their wellbeing.

Delivered meals are for anyone that is no longer able to prepare meals, or has difficulty preparing their own meals or unable to shop for ingredients to cook meals. This may be due to age, disability or a temporary condition. Our service is more than just a meal, our friendly volunteers will also have a chat and make sure those using the service are ok.
The opportunity
A current drivers licence is required
Training is provided plus on going support

The impact
As Delivered Meals Volunteer, you'll help improve the quality of life and wellbeing of people who are elderly or have disability by connecting them with services in their local community. Red Cross will ensure you have training, ongoing support and access to other opportunities within the World's largest humanitarian network.
