Community Support Worker

We're seeking one or two experienced support workers to provide 3 full days (7 hour shifts) respite services on-going for a (female) NDIS client, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week (occasional week-ends if available).

  • Work with the one NDIS consumer

  • Earn primary wages, or supplement your current income

  • No car needed

We are seeking an experienced support worker, or two, to provide on-going services to a female NDIS client living in her own home in Sydney's East. With an acquired brain injury, she needs patient understanding and guidance from a dedicated and loyal support team.

Working at the client's home, while her full-time carer is working, your duties will involve prompting personal care, providing social support (outings on public transport) and light domestic duties.

We also have other clients and services for applicants seeking more work (if you possess a car, although not needed for this particular client).

Essential requirements:

  • Certificate III in Community or Disability Care (or)

  • Extensive experience working in disability support

  • First Aid Certificate

  • Manual Handling competency evidence (or willingness to complete an on-line course)

  • Current Police Check

  • Available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week
