The Role
If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you. We are currently seeking a proactive and passionate Digital Marketing Intern to be a key member of the Marketing and Creative team. You will be responsible for strategy development and delivery of clients digital marketing assets and campaigns to various audiences across multiple digital channels including web, mobile, email, social media, SEM, PPC, SEO, EDM and display advertising.  You should also have a strong understanding of technical SEO implementations & analytical skills as you will be responsible for end-to-end SEO: managing tactical execution, building site authority, crunching the ranking and performance data and identifying new opportunities. 

This is an unpaid position / internship and will require the candidate to dedicate 1 - 2 days per working week in the office, and assist with working in media. You will receive a written reference upon completion!

Daily Duties:
  • Execute search engine optimization tactics such as link building, keyword rankings, HTML tag optimization, campaign performance tracking and ongoing evaluation of keywords.
  • Perform competitor analysis and keyword research, in addition to setting up and managing PPC campaigns, budget management, bid optimisation and performance review.
  • Perform keyword research to develop target lists that match up with client goals.
  • Ability to provide technical analysis of website performance and outline areas of opportunities to improve from an SEO perspective.
  • Ability to communicate SEO strategy to internal teams as well as clients.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive website audits for new and existing client websites.
  • Knowledge to create measurement plans that prove our success in relation to on site KPIs.
  • Develop and implement content marketing campaigns alongside internal team members to increase social sharing and organic traffic for clients.
  • Perform outreach using professional and eloquent communication skills to acquire inbound links to client websites.
  • Content creation and/or copywriting skills are a plus but not required.
  • Work alongside content curation, web design and social media departments to ensure all technical, content and social signals are being developed to help boost organic results.

Required Skills

  • Experience in running paid campaigns on Google and Facebook; experience with paid YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram a big bonus point.
  • Experience running SEO campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of the latest Google updates and SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of SEM and Web Analytics
  • Knowledge of past and current algorithmic trends, search tools, web analytics software and Google Analytics.
  • Thorough understanding of HTML, CSS and web standards
  • Developing strong interpersonal relationships and stakeholder management
