The Heart Foundation is an independent charity focused on protecting the heart health of all Australians. Our purpose is to reduce premature death and suffering from heart, stroke and blood vessel disease.
An opportunity exists for a highly organised and energetic Fundraising Coordinator to join the Heart Foundation ACT office.
We are looking for someone that loves helping others just as much as getting that data report just right. You will have a heart for fundraising and a knack for business development and enjoy a healthy, fun and energetic environment working with passionate colleagues.
This is a unique role that combines data analysis with building relationships with our donors and the Canberra community. We are looking for someone special to complete our team and entrust with our wonderful donors and community partners.
This exciting part-time (30hrs/week) opportunity requires well-developed communication skills, a team-oriented approach and high levels of attention to detail. You will have previous experience using a CRM database (Raiser's Edge preferred) generating and analysing reports and creating eDMs with an online mail marketing program (Exact Target preferred). Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating relationships
  • Aptitude in project management and data analysis
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep calm under pressure
