The Programming team at the Australian Museum are looking for people who want to discover more about the Australian Museum and learn some new skills. You can volunteer in the day time, nights or weekends. It will be when you are available and as often as you like. On the day training will be provided. You just need to be aged over 18 and speak fluent English. No previous experience necessary!

We are currently looking for people to help with the AM's next JURASSIC LOUNGE event on July 15th.

With much excitement and anticipation, the AM's next Jurassic Lounge event is almost here and we're putting out the call for energetic, enthusiastic and capable volunteers to help out on the night.

On July 15, the entire Australian Museum will be remixed by artists, scientists and DJs in an after-hours playground for adults (and dinosaurs). The night will be full of weird and wonderful activities and the line-up has just been released, follow the link for more info: https://australianmuseum.net.au/landing/jurassic-lounge/

Jurassic Lounge is one of the largest, most complex events the Museum presents and we prepare for it months in advance! As a volunteer on the night, you play an integral role in making sure the night runs smoothly and your commitment to your role for the entire night is vital. 

SOME KEY EVENT DETAILS FOR YOU:  

EVENT: Jurassic Lounge - theme: Robots VS Dinosaurs

WHEN: Saturday 15th July

WHAT TIME: 4pm - 10:30pm (Time TBC - must be available for the duration)

Arrive on time, follow instructions from your Zone Supervisor, communicate with the public with enthusiasm and have fun! Previous event or hospitality experience a bonus but not necessary.
