The Fashion PR & Social Media Marketing Intern will be instrumental to Increasing our PR & Social Media presence and getting visibility for our brand 2nd Skin Bikinis. As an intern, you will support our business development and creative web marketing departments. This is not a coffee-run internship. You will take an active role in our continued growth through maintaining and optimizing our relationships with networks in the industry. 

 

Duration: 3 months

commitment: 2/3 days per week,

2-3hrs each day

 

The internship is unpaid. Yet, you will gain valuable PR & Social Media Marketing experience. Official Start Date: ASAP Marketing a product line to a target audience & target media is the most important part of the fashion industry. For young professionals looking for a career in this segment of the industry, Public Relations & Social Media Marketing Internships are a perfect stepping stone. Interns can learn how to appeal to the right target audience through Influencer-Social Media Marketing & target media networks, promoting the product line with complimenting campaigns. The internship requires the candidates to be passionate about the fashion world and have an understanding of the prevailing trends in the industry. 2nd Skin Bikinis is a swimwear line that creates seriously sassy cheeky Bikini bottoms. Our goal is to connect girls & woman with Beach/surf culture & their individuality in that world. 

 

Responsibilities (the following are several roles, only some apply for PR Interns & others apply for Social Media Interns): Create a PR Strategy & Implement it. Create and maintain marketing content. Communicate exciting social media news (external). *Build Strategic Relations with influencers in social media. *Solicits interviews from relevant industry insiders. Distribute content to various social media content platforms. Write and distribute press releases. Monitor and engage on various social media platforms (sometimes). Put together a monthly newsletter. Internet research to find and engage with social media communications. Track social media engagement statistics.
