About Us

Christian Blanchard is a fashion photographer and film director. Named by Capture Magazine as one of Australia's top ten, he has exhibited across Australia, Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Paris and London.

Blanchard has shot global campaigns for clients including Mimco, Myer, Maybelline, Amstel, Cotton On, Nobody Denim, Nintendo, L'Oreal, MBFFS, MBFWA and Puma

Christian actively contributes to the Australian photographic community through various projects that include guest speaking at AGNSW, AGWA and educating for Nikon Australia, Contact Sheet and The Australian Centre of Photography.

Christian is also a key innovator in new visual technologies and aims to incorporate even more cutting-edge equipment into his work in fashion.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team. The position requires 2 days per week for a 3-month minimum commitment. We're based in Surry Hills but shoots take us further afield.

This is an unpaid intern position however it's a great opportunity for any student/assistant keen to gain experience. This is an ideal way to make connections within the industry and gain the experience required to go on to paid assistant jobs and see how a successful fashion photography business operates.

Tasks will include clerical, admin, pre production, equipment collection, assisting on studio and location shoots, post production, social media posting, image archiving, research, personal assisting and various menial tasks around the office. With the right person this position could potentially grow with responsibilities.

About You

The ideal candidate will

- Be available 2 days per week and flexible as days can often change with shoots and other events

- Have a MacBook Pro with Adobe Suite & CaptureOne and have competence in both

- Have a driver's license (having a car is useful too)

- Have social media experience

- Be innovative, a problem solver and up to any request, no matter how big or small

- Have a positive attitude, self-motivation and self-sufficiency
