This is an innovative global cyber security business that are known for in the market for their products and services that put their customers at the centre of their proposition. This are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join the People and Culture team to drive, develop and manage the internal communications strategy to keep teams connected globally.

About the role

In this role you will develop and implement a communications strategy that leverages the global businesses and engages all employees to be able to clearly articulate the Company's vision and key messages.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess strategic and tactical communication requirements building communication and engagement plans for the organisation
  • Act as a trusted advisor and provide expert advice and guidance on internal communications strategies, plans and issues support to the organisation, primarily at the CEO, executive level and People and Culture
  • Lead, drive and execute all internal communications for transformation and change management initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives and subject matter experts across the company to ensure they provide timely information and feedback for content
  • Manage major communication projects, effectively planning and managing external agency relationships as necessary
  • Partner with marketing to align internal messaging with external messaging, contributing to relevant industry awards (globally but with a focus on Australia)
  • Write, edit and proofread communication and thought-leadership material in formats including internal and customer-facing emails and newsletter content, intranet articles

About the candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in internal communications management
  • Experience working in a global communications role for a complex matrix organisation
  • Proven experience in developing relationships with stakeholders and consulting on best practice internal communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with high quality and exceptional customer service
  • Strong capabilities and experience working with senior leaders
  • Technically superior business writing and communication skills
  • Thinks strategically, executes programs against timelines and meets commitments
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • High energy level - displays enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Solid understanding of communications methodologies and internal communications best practice.
  • A passion for exploring and implementing innovative ways of reaching audiences within the business.
  • A strong desire to work in a close knit, enthusiastic and hard-working team.
