Excellent opportunity to learn, collaborate and work with a leading fashion, beauty and event photographer.

We are seeking a highly skilled photographer and studio assistant for fashion, beauty and event photography.

Candidates will be self-starters, strong communicators, very detail oriented, and have a passion for photography.  You will help organise and run photoshoots, including liaising with clients, suppliers, and the creative team, and also potentially step in on set as the main photographer.

You will also be involved in the management of a studio for photography professionals and media producers, and will be  expected to constantly re-evaluate existing workflows, and help develop new processes to keep the studio at its highest possible efficiency.

• post-production assistance, including editing & retouching using Lightroom and Photoshop
• assist with location and studio set up using technical lighting and equipment knowledge
• collaborate with creative team and suppliers to organise and ensure photoshoots runs efficiently
• support studio activities as needed, including managing diaries and schedules.

About you

• possess a portfolio with some practical photography/studio experience, or previous industry experience as a studio or location assistant
• proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• experience with photography software for mac platforms, including Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
• ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and projects
• experience with using Excel/Outlook/(Quickbooks desirable)
• your own vehicle and drivers license
