ProMinent Fluid Controls in Australia has been operating since 1976 and is focused on the manufacture, supply, installation and service of Chemical Dosing and Water Treatment Systems, Progressive Cavity Pumps, Hose/Tube Pumps and associated equipment.

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Professional to further enhance our Belrose Head Office operational efficiencies on Sydney's northern beaches.

Reporting to the Administration Manager, t he purpose behind the role is to support the continued growth of the business by maximizing the effectiveness of Prominent Australia's procurement strategy and procedures.

As part of this platform an overview for the functions includes the following:

• Developing effective procurement strategies for our portfolio of products & services.
• 
  
• Working closely with existing suppliers and identifying new partner suppliers to deliver the best commercial outcomes for the business.
• Driving supplier performance through supplier management and setting clear KPI's ensuring surety of supply as well as setting up optimal supply chains to support the business.
• Establish key strategic alliances with suppliers, coupled with internal stakeholder management with a focus on delivery of sustainability of supply, cost reduction and mitigation and other long term sustainable benefits to the business.

Previous exposure to electronics or Water/Pool equipment procurement and supply will be a bonus but not a prerequisite.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate hands on management in purchasing functions and a willingness to work within a close team environment.
