Our centre, Your Future

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Estella is located in the developing suburb of Estella, on the Northern side of Wagga Wagga. Our centre has provided care and education for the children of our small community for more 20 years.

We are a passionate and experienced team providing play based, stimulating curriculum based on the Early Years' Learning Framework. All our rooms are all geared with this in mind.

We encourage the children in our service to engage in mixed age grouping during outdoor play, which allows the them to practice skills such as responsibility, risk management and empathy.

Our carefully designed and planned spaces encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability - while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

Your role

• Diploma level early childhood qualification (ACECQA approved)
• Hold a current First Aid qualification
• Permanent Part time 22.5 hours a week Supporting the Toddler space
• Be committed to providing the highest quality of care for the Children we support.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
• Engage and supervise the children at all times
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
• Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
