About the role
The position will be responsible for management of several unit wide change management processes, including the engagement of clinicians in clinical redesign processes. The Nursing Unit Manager will provide leadership and management of the Melanoma Unit during a time of clinical redesign and practice change.

What you bring
  • Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Extensive experience and expertise in Nursing Unit Management, including financial and human resources management
  • Ability to lead and manage a team in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrated ability to implement patient flow principles, scheduling to meet the needs of the community and hospital
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and change management in a health setting, and/or clinical redesign experience, to achieved planned outcomes. Quality Improvement experience is desirable
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with capacity to successfully manage diverse, priorities and meet deadlines
  • High level interpersonal communication, verbal and written skills and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
