The Program
Our Migration Support Program provides help and support to refugees, asylum seekers, immigration detainees and other people who are vulnerable as a result of migration. We do this through a range of migration programs that protect and uphold the health, dignity and well being of vulnerable migrants. We also provide services to reconnect family members whose loss of contact is caused by international or internal conflict, war and disaster.
The opportunity
The Mentoring Program Volunteer, ideally with some HR or recruitment background, will assess our client's skills, work experience and qualifications and help them to write their cover letters and CVs. This could also include conducting mock interviews to help them prepare for their job interviews. Each Mentoring Program Volunteer will be carefully matched with one of the MSP clients based on the volunteer's experience and professional background.
The impactAs a Mentoring Volunteer you will help vulnerable clients in their job seeking journey by providing tailored support to each one them. This support will enable them to find suitable job opportunities and provide better future for themselves and their families.
