Salary: $64,623 - $74,227 p.a. plus 9.5% superannuation  

Asialink Business is a new program by Asialink, Australia's premier body
promoting Australia-Asia engagement. Asialink is a partnership between the
University of Melbourne and the Myer Foundation
(http://asialink.unimelb.edu.au/about_us). In addition to these partners,
funding from the Australian Government Department of Industry and the private
sector supports Asialink Business in its crucial knowledge-building,
awareness-raising and networking activities. Asialink Business facilitates the
development of Asia-relevant capabilities that will drive Australia's economic
and jobs growth, and enable deeper engagement and relationships in the Asia
region. It helps Australian businesses to understand and effectively negotiate
Asian contexts, including learning to work more effectively with Asian
businesses and other partners.
Based in the Asialink Business Sydney office, the Programs and Office
Coordinator will be responsible for administrative management of the Sydney
office, including providing high-level support to Sydney-based management staff.

The Programs and Office Coordinator will support the work of Asialink Business
national teams including Events, Business Development, Capability Development
and the Leaders Program. In this role, the Programs and Office Coordinator will
help to ensure the delivery of high-quality events including conferences,
public lectures, seminars and private roundtables, as well as the delivery of
in-house and open capability training programs, and events associated with the
Leaders Program. The position will also support the outreach and administrative
management of some business development and corporate stakeholder engagement
activities.
The incumbent will have highly developed organisational skills and excellent
interpersonal skills to effectively manage the responsibilities of the position.
