This is a rare position within a forward-thinking, youthful and creative digital marketing agency that specialises in the Fintech space. We are a small, tight-knit team of 14, with a strong focus on ‘getting things done’.

 

We currently operate several comparison websites in the insurance, credit card, home loan and personal loan industries, so the constant excitement around here is immeasurable.

 

We are looking for an experienced SEO ninja strategist to help us continue dominating organic search results. We say continue because we’re already pretty damn good at what we do but 15 pairs of hands are better than 14! So, come aboard and join our bright, sometimes funny and innovative team!

 

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing (he’s nice, we swear) you will:

 

– Execute tests, collect and analyse data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI

– Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing

– Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation

– Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations

– Develop and implement link building strategy

– Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

– Work with the content team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

– Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords

– Prepare detailed strategy reports

– Write powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors

– Fill websites and other content with effective keywords

– Analyse keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors

– Keep updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid stay within search engine guidelines

– Compile and present SEO guidelines

– Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success

 

To be successful in the role you will need:

 

– Proven 3 – 5 years SEO experience

– Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition

– In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

– Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

– Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

– Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

– Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO

– Prior experience in content marketing, content growth and SEO

– Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices

– Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems

– Excellent verbal and written communication skill

– Ability to work within a team and independently

– Ability to keep up with hilarious workplace banter
