SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN - FASHION

We are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic social media intern to join our team.  

The role will provide an opportunity to explore your own creativity and contribute to our social media strategy and content plan.  

This role is suitable for a university student who is looking to gain knowledge in the fashion industry and social media.  Candidate will be assigned mentors and be part of a collaborative, supportive team but should be able to work fairly independently on their projects, which assumes a certain level of competency and self-confidence.   

Responsibilities  

• Creating content for social media channels, Website and EDM
• Developing creative assets for promotions, Ads, Instagram Stories and EDMs
• Assisting with creative execution of social media strategy
• Brainstorm and test new ideas
• Implement Digital Marketing Strategies
• Assist with PR campaigns;

Requirements

Attendance required is 1-3 days a week from 10-4pm for the course of 6-12 weeks. We are very flexible with days to suit your study and work commitments. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible :)

Please note, some work related expenses will be covered.

Transport and lunch expenses are at the cost of the candidate. Our office is a 5-minute walk from Ormond train station.

Ideal candidate

• A strong understanding of social media
• Sound writing and editing skills + keen eye for detail
• Understand branding
• Photo editing knowledge (e.g Photoshop)
• An interest in the fashion industry
• Be motivated, punctual and willing to contribute creatively.
• Have experience using Facebook and Instagram advertising
• Have a genuine interest in children's fashion/lifestyle
• May have your own blog/personal instagram/Pinterest page to showcase your style

This role is positioned as an unpaid internship. The hours and the duration of the internship are negotiable.

We are happy to provide a letter of reference upon completion of internship.  

We are also open to offering a paid part-time position at the completion of this internship if both parties feel the internship has been successful.
