The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Survey and Data Specialist to
coordinate student evaluation capability, business operations and survey
reporting, as well as provide data specialist support within the surveys stream
within the Information Strategy and Surveys team. In this role you will be
expected to fulfil a diverse range of functions, including those of a
technical, operational, analytical, engagement/communication and change
management nature, and to be proactive in the monitoring of survey fieldwork
operations and reporting requirements.

The position requires a high level of proficiency with data extraction,
management and transformation, as well as high level analytical and diagnostic
problem solving skills and a holistic approach to all aspects of the role. You
will also be an excellent communicator, with a high degree of initiative and
the ability to conceptualise complex issues and problems, as well as devise and
implement solutions. Attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to work
within an environment undergoing significant change. 
Experience in the Australian higher education sector with survey and/or
government collection data is desirable.
