POSITION: Teacher or Educator for Saturday STEM club for primary age children
Would you like to design and run a program where you are not required to follow a curriculum and you are encouraged to let your imagination go wild, inspired by what interests you?

G.A.T.E.WAYS is seeking a passionate and experienced teacher/ex-teacher/educator with a science, technology or mathematics qualification to run a STEM club at our Ryde Brainwaves Club. The club operates on 8 Saturday afternoons in each of Semester 1 and 2. The club caters to gifted children in Years 4-6 who love to learn.

About the role:
As a Brainwaves club leader you will:

- be a passionate and skilled STEM educator
- create and deliver an imaginative program which is wide ranging, rigorous and 'hands-on'- be knowledgeable about the special needs of gifted children and committed to seeing these needs met- be an excellent communicator with an ability to engage easily with children and their parents
- be fluent in both spoken and written English
