Salary: $74,958- $81,138 p.a. plus 17% superannuation
About University Services
University Services comprises of 1,500 professional staff focused on providing
client centric and innovative services to the University. The group is
providing transformational change, defining and influencing future service
enhancements within the University of Melbourne. The Web Development and Online
Content Officer is a member of the Corporate Support Team which sits within the
Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (RIC) portfolio.
About the role
The Web Development and Online Content Officer is responsible for the
provision of essential web user interface development and programming expertise
to ensure the successful operation and development of RIC's web presence. The
position also supports the operation, development and ongoing maintenance of
RIC's web presence through the timely provision of advanced technical advice
and development and implementation of complex web graphical user interface
solutions while maintaining a high level of web usability and stakeholder
satisfaction.
The successful candidate will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders
and requires a strong presentation, negotiation and communications skills, as
well as high level of attention to detail.
To be successful in this role you will be passionate about continuous
improvement and innovation with a proven record of influencing and engaging
others with your leadership skills. Your strong customer centric focus will
ensure you build strong working relationships.
About you
·  High proficiency and demonstrated experience in front end development of
interactive web user interfaces
·  Demonstrated experience in back end programming of complex applications
using PHP and database management and CMS frameworks specifically Drupal
·  Demonstrated experience in designing and developing web interfaces to W3C
standards for multiple devices
-  Demonstrated understanding of web metrics and using analytical tools
-  Undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline and or equivalent mix
of education and relevant experience
-  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-  Proven ability to thrive in a changing and fast paced environment
