Wanderlust Union, a boutique communications agency, specialising in travel, lifestyle and food & wine sectors, is looking for a PR account co-ordinator to join their small but highly respected team.


In line with this unique remit, it is expected that the PR account co-ordinator will be ‘passionate about travel & food & wine’.  A fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their PR knowledge and work in agency that can nurture their career path and offer invaluable hands-on experience.


Your responsibilities will be supporting the Account Director & Senior Account Manager in planning and executing 360 degree communications plans for a luxury client portfolio and co-ordinating a busy group of accounts to build positive client relationships. You will need strong organisational skills to assist with planning events, maintaining research databases as well as co-ordinating elements of Wanderlust Unions content planning for social.

*Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field

*1 years’ experience, either agency or in-house is desirable but not essential. Graduates welcome



With a flair for writing creative PR materials, all things social and providing exceptional support on client campaigns your skills and experience will include:

* Experience and/or interest in PR, working in an agency environment

* A proactive attitude with the courage to tackle tasks head on

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* A passion for going above and beyond to support our clients

* Management of client WIP documents

* Day-to-day co-ordination of accounts

* Maintaining knowledge of the industry and current developments

* Attending client meetings and follow up contact reports

* Enthusiasm for social media and all things digital

* Co-ordinating content plans for Wanderlust Union
* A hunger to learn
* A nose for news



* Be committed to constantly developing news skills, learning and being curious about the best possible solutions 

* Understands the importance of KPIs and works to achieve these for all activities
* Makes a positive contribution to both the agency and client culture   


Full-time role based on a standard 40 hour week with some occasional additional work out of hours. You must be eligible to work full-time in Australia to apply.
