About the ACS Foundation

The ACS Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the career opportunities enabled by information technology. A key aspect of this is our partnerships with over 60 Australian companies. Through this we offer internship placements to undergraduate and graduate students. Internships are based on a scholarship model in partnership with universities, students and host companies. These internship placements provide students with work experience, regular scholarship payments and links with future employers.

In 2009, the ACS Foundation was proud to award over 350 students with paid work experience placements all across Australia. Many of these students have gone on to accept graduate positions with these companies. ACS Foundation host companies come from a range of industries, and vary from global enterprises to local firms.

Since the ACS Foundation was formed in 2001, we have awarded over 1,800 placements worth over $25 million. We invite you to join the growing number of people who find their career through the ACS Foundation.
